Your application pictures are placed in front of the recruitment panel in Dubai

For those of you applying for the Emirates cabin crew position online for your open day or assessment day, Emirates has strict rules on the photographs you have to submit.

We have summarised the full guidelines here.

In short, Emirates requires that you upload 1 full length formal photograph, 1 identical passport sized photo and 2 casual photos (1 half length and 1 full length).

You must follow the full guidelines or your pictures may be rejected and if your re-submission does not still meet their requirements, your full application will be rejected.

For the full length formal photo and passport sized photo, pleads ensure you are groomed well as follows:

• Visible make-up.
• Hair must be groomed in a bun that cannot be seen from the front.
• Hair neat and tidy, if there are loose hairs, please pin them so they are tidy from the front.
• You must be in business attire.
• Knee length skirt.
• High heels (closed toe AND no ankle straps).
• Skin coloured stockings.
• No jewellery, no glasses, no colour contacts, no scarves and no watches.
• Big smile showing teeth.
• Hands must be straight by your side and both legs together.
• No shadows and facial expressions must be sharply in focus.

For your casual photos, Emirates requires 1 full length and 1 close-up. Your attire and surroundings should be conservative.

Requirements for your casual photos:

• Hands must be flat by your side with your hair behind the ears and shoulders.
• Big smile showing teeth.
• Fitted T-shirt (Black preferred).
• High heels (closed toes).
• Visible make-up.
• No glasses.
• No extra ear piercings.
• No watches.
• No tank tops.
• No long sleeved shirts.

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR APPLICATION PHOTOS

Your photographs are very important to Emirates. Remember you are the first face of Emirates that the passenger sees when they board the aircraft so you want to present them with your best looks. If there was a tie between your final interview and that of your competitor, and there is just one vacancy, the recruiter will look at the photographs to see who deserves the golden call.
